Safe in Famine

Thoughts and Prayer for you and your family today.

Gen 26:1 A severe famine now struck the land, as had happened before in Abraham's time. So Isaac moved to Gerar, where Abimelech, king of the Philistines, lived.
Gen 26:2 The LORD appeared to Isaac and said, "Do not go down to Egypt, but do as I tell you.
Gen 26:12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year a hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him

Today, I prayed for you that you would be an Isaac. When Isaac was faced with trouble in his land (a “famine”) he held his ground even in the face of hopeless circumstances. He held to what the Lord had spoken to him and refused to give up the land the Lord said he would bless him in.

You may be facing the same types of situations, but my prayer for you is to experience God’s Abundance of Grace & Mercy to stand in your promise land just like Isaac did.

What does “Your Promise Land” from the Lord that you already posse because of Jesus Sacrifice look like? Read these scriptures to find out. (Ps 23:1, Ps 5:12, John 10:10, Rom. 5:17 – 25, Rom 8:25 – 30, Eph 1:3, Eph 3:20, 2 Cor 5:17, Col 1:9 – 10, Phil 4:13 & 19). Remember that God Loves you and will always see you through no matter what you face.
