Experiencing His Simple Message

Here are my thoughts and prayer for you and your family today.

Mat 3:1 While Jesus was living in the Galilean hills, John, called "the Baptizer," was preaching in the desert country of Judea.
Mat 3:2 His message was simple and austere, like his desert surroundings: "Change your life. God's kingdom is here."
Mat 3:3 John and his message were authorized by Isaiah's prophecy: Thunder in the desert! Prepare for God's arrival!

Today, as I was praying for you, I prayed that the simple truths of the Gospel of Grace would penetrate every area of your life. Just like John's message penetrated the hearts of those of his day. I asked the Lord that His Word and His Love would do the same for us. Then we could experience change on a daily basis like the people who heard John's message.
